Just to clarify an issue that came up. I have no idea how we've been playing this wrong the entire time, but the stand and shoot range is half of the charging units full charge distance (ie. double M), not the missile weapons of the defending unit (BRB pg 19). The only time the half distance for the shooting weapons comes into play is if half of the charge distance is beyond short range for the weapon in question (ie. stand & shoot is always a short range shot).
So for last night, High Elves charging 10" into my Quarellers would most definitely get hit with stand & shoot since they are more than half of their maximum charge distance away.
You're simply the next meal for my carnosaur.

I have no idea considering it's the very first sentence under 'stand & shoot'. lol
I think it's high time I re-read the fantasy rulebook a few times. Making too many stupid rules mistakes lately.

I think that we can safely say that everyone needs to re-read it! I am putting that on my bedtime book list.
